It's A Setup - 7"

Since its founding in 2024 by Hayes Noble (guitar/vocals) and brothers Parker Bytnar (drums) and Mason Bytnar (Bass), It’s A Setup has turned heads in the Pacific Northwest hardcore scene with a throwback approach to both sound and substance. Later joined by Everett Noble (bass), the two sets of brothers have attacked the PNW with their massive two bass bottom-heavy sound, and ear-splitting in-your-face rage. 

Taking their cues from the likes of Dropdead, MK Ultra, and Undertow, It’s A Setup has created a unique sound, melding the chaos of powerviolence with the intensity and power of metallic hardcore. Inspired by the scene built around the Ebullition label in the 90s, It’s A Setup has taken a “more than music” approach with lyrics, art, and live show. Their self-titled debut is a blistering 8 song, 45 rpm 7” full of blast beats and breakdowns. A limited run of 200 are available on red vinyl. *photo by Xander Luft
